Notifications are reserved for credible safety concerns, not everyday hard conversations. The main triggers are: (1) statements suggesting suicidal intent, a plan, or means; (2) active self-harm or an intent to self-harm; (3) disclosures of abuse, assault, or neglect involving the user or another minor; (4) threats of violence toward another person; and (5) situations describing imminent physical danger. Ordinary venting, sadness, doubt, spiritual questions, relationship stress, or exploring hard topics do not trigger a notification.

The adult or guardian on record receives a message flagging that a safety concern was detected, the general category (for example: self-harm risk), and a prompt to check in with their child and contact appropriate help. It is a heads-up so a real adult can step in — not a full transcript dump and not a substitute for emergency services.

Conversations are private to the account holder. For accounts belonging to minors, adults and guardians retain visibility and control. Our team does not read individual chats except in the narrow safety and abuse-review cases required to keep the service safe.

No. We do not sell user data, share it with advertisers, or hand conversations to third-party AI companies to train their models. Data is used to operate and improve RYN-X only.

Yes. You can delete individual chat threads at any time from the sidebar, and you can request full account deletion. Deleted content is removed from active systems on a rolling basis.
