Digital Paraclete is a Character-Building AI Companion for youth and adults to work through any question through the lens of Growth - Integrity - Purpose - Connection.
Digital Paraclete is a Florida nonprofit created to develop RYN-X, short for Responsible Youthful Navigation Expert. RYN-X is an intelligent, conversational companion designed to help youth and adults think through real questions — the kind they might otherwise bring to AI, friends, or the internet.
Comparable in function to tools like ChatGPT, RYN-X is being built with a distinct foundation. Its guidance is shaped by timeless character principles rather than by popular opinion or algorithm-driven influence.

RYN-X is simple to use — whether an adult is starting the first conversation or a teen needs guidance at midnight.

Create an account with email or Google. Adults can set up the profile, or teens can sign in with family approval.

Once inside, you will see your conversation list. Start fresh with a new thread or continue a previous chat.

What kinds of questions can my child or teen ask?
They can ask about friendships, school stress, emotions, decisions, values, faith questions, family dynamics, or anything else on their mind. RYN-X is designed to listen, encourage, and guide them toward thoughtful answers.
How is this different from ChatGPT or other AI tools?
Most AI tools answer based on popularity patterns and broad internet data. RYN-X is shaped by character principles — integrity, compassion, humility, patience, self-control, truthfulness, and love — so responses point toward wisdom, not just convenience.
Is it safe for young people to use?
RYN-X is designed to be age-appropriate and encouraging. It does not replace adults, mentors, or professional counselors. For serious mental health, safety, or legal concerns, it will always point users toward trusted adults and qualified professionals.
Can adults use it too?
Yes. Adults can use RYN-X to prepare for hard conversations, explore how to talk about values, or simply find language for questions their kids bring home. It is a support tool for the whole family.
What does character-building mean in practice?
It means every response is crafted to help the user think clearly, act kindly, and choose well. Instead of just giving an answer, RYN-X helps them understand the why behind better decisions.

Safety, boundaries, and how to raise a concern
RYN-X is built for real family life. Here is what it will and won't discuss, how it handles hard moments, and how to reach us the second something feels off.
What RYN-X will do
- • Listen without judgment and respond with age-appropriate care.
- • Guide toward honest, kind, and wise choices grounded in character.
- • Point back to adults, mentors, teachers, and trusted adults.
- • In a serious moment — self-harm, abuse, violence, crisis — surface professional help and encourage the user to reach a trusted adult immediately.
What RYN-X will not do
- • Produce sexual, graphic, or explicit content.
- • Glamorize self-harm, substance use, violence, or risky behavior.
- • Give medical, legal, mental-health, or financial advice as a professional.
- • Replace an adult, counselor, pastor, teacher, or emergency service.
- • Keep secrets from adults about safety concerns involving a minor.

How to report a concern
If a response ever feels harmful, off-tone, inappropriate for your child, or if you spot a safety issue, please let us know. We review every adult report.

Note the date, thread name, and (if possible) copy the message or take a screenshot.
Step 2
Email our team
Send the details to safety@digitalparaclete.org. For urgent safety concerns, put "URGENT" in the subject line.
Step 3
We follow up
A human reviews the report, adjusts guardrails if needed, and responds to you directly.
